It’s never this tidy
As I quite enjoyed putting together the first bathroom scene I made, I decided to have a go at another one. This one however is recreated from an image I found online. It is the last in the series of recreations from images where I previously made a lounge and a kitchen.
The main process for creating this was much the same as the other two, namely to block everything out using low-poly geometry to get the scale and camera angle correct before going into each individual element and adding detail trying to match the original reference image.
One of the aspects I enjoyed doing, was the objects in the reflection of the mirrors. Getting their positions to match accurately in the reflection, with the slight angle on the mirrors themselves was a fun little challenge.
I also decided for once to not find a model of a plant that I needed and to do the orchid myself. I’m rather pleased with how it turned out!
As always, a tidy scene file, is a happy scene file!
