About

A little about me.

My name is Chris. If you plonk me down in front of a computer and feed me coffee I can make, well, pretty much anything.

Since leaving university in the UK I have produced work for several of the world’s biggest brands ranging from Rio Tinto and Barclays to Rude Health and WIRED Magazine. I have spent the last couple of years getting some travel under my belt, working on my personal photography and learning as much as I can about design techniques and advanced CGI.

I’m pretty savvy with building computers too, when something breaks I’m usually the one my friends and family call to fix it. When not monkeying around with computers I can be found hiking up mountains or falling in the ocean somewhere near a surfboard, I’ve recently gotten into mountain biking so suffice to say I keep finding new ways of pushing / trying not to hurt myself!

I’m a keen photographer which you can see on the Photography page. I enjoy the technical aspect as well as the artistic. Happy to roam the streets doing run and gun photography or setting up for a few hours worth of time-lapse.

Most of the projects in my showreel were created in Houdini which I studied during my Masters degree. I have previous experience with Maya from my Undergraduate studies. Thanks to a very strong foundation in Houdini, as well as 3D + 2D content creation, all the skills I have are readily transferable to other software packages.

If you want to get in touch just head over to the contact page and drop me a message, I look forward to hearing from you!
